First Six Months

July marks the end of the first six months of my campaign. I have learned an incredible amount and have built a great deal of momentum. I've met some of the nicest people imaginable throughout my district. This race is admittedly a big challenge, but I believe that God has used every part of my life thus far to prepare me for this time. Thanks to all of you for your support and help.

There are two days left for my campaign to raise funds or receive pledges that will appear on the first financial report to the state Ethics Commission. Please help us achieve our goals by giving today or by making a pledge. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Father's Day and the Week to Come

Today is Father's Day. I hope all the fathers out there had as great a day as I had. I truly love being a father to my three boys. They are nothing short of a blessing from God. I am also incredibly lucky to have a great father of my own. I got to spend most of the weekend with my Dad at my sister's wedding. I love spending time with him and am extremely thankful that he's always been there for me. He has been such a steady influence on my life. Thanks, Dad!
This week on the campaign trail I'll be at a fundraiser for Congressman Michael McCaul on Monday night. I plan to attend the TCRP Tea Party biweekly meeting Tuesday night. Otherwise, I'm still focusing on fund raising. Trust me, I'll be working hard.
Have a great week!

Fundraising Starts Now!

Today is the first day by law that my campaign can begin fundraising. I don't know of any candidate who truly enjoys fundraising, but it is necessary, particularly for a campaign that covers 24 counties.
Please contribute to my campaign. Just click on the Donate button to your left or go to the Donations page on this site. Any amount is appreciated.
Thank you for promoting conservative, agenda-free, even-handed justice at the Third Court of Appeals. I can't do it without your help!
Thank you!

Out And About This Sunday May 31

Sunday the 31st of May will be a pretty active day for me as I continue on the campaign trail.
At 2:00pm my family and I will be at Williamson County Grand Ole Picnic at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown. At the picnic I’ll be asking people to sign a petition to get my name on the ballot. Your support would be most appreciated. Bring your family, friends and neighbors and and join in the fun!
Then at 7pm on Sunday evening I’ll be attending a meeting of the Wimberley Valley Republican Group. Eric Opiela will be speaking on “2010 Starts Now.”
I'm hoping you'll come along and take part in these events. See you there!
Best wishes all,
Scott
